United opened the preseason schedule Friday night with a 1-1 draw against MLS expansion club Orlando City at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla.In the first of six tuneups before the CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinals begin in four weeks, Chris Pontius put United ahead in the 14th minute with a glancing header to the far corner off Taylor Kemp‘s cross from the left flank.
