Early in Friday night’s hockey game, Stone Bridge’s Cade Groton picked up the puck deep in the defensive zone and brought it dangerously close to the front of his own net while under pressure from forechecking Woodbridge forwards. Then, Groton sped down the left side of the ice past all five opposing skaters before firing a shot on net.
