Latvian rappers pen pretty great tribute track to unlikely NHL All-Star Zemgus Girgensons

Buffalo Sabres forward Zemgus Girgensons collected more 1.5 million votes to top the list of players on this season’s NHL All-Star team, mostly thanks to his fellow countrymen in Latvia. The 20-year-old mostly middling player beat out the likes of Blackhawks stars Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews. That’s because nearly three-quarters of the country’s population of 2 million got out the vote, albeit many people probably voted two, three or even hundreds of times.
