OTTAWA, Ontario — It was another day spent playing the waiting game, so goaltender Justin Peters went back to work. Most of the Washington Capitals chose to bypass the optional skate, instead hurrying through meetings and an off-ice workout, before taking the early bus back to their hotel. But Peters, along with three other skaters, took the ice at Canadian Tire Centre.
