Armond Armstead, whose once-promising NFL career was derailed by multiple heart attacks, has settled his lawsuit with the University of Southern California over the school’s alleged misuse of Toradol, his attorneys announced Wednesday. Armstead alleged in the lawsuit that his heart was weakened because the school over-administered the painkiller, which the Food and Drug Administration warns “may cause an increased risk of serious cardiovascular thrombotic events, myocardial infarction, and stroke, which can be fatal.”Read full article >>
